TotalEnergies Corbion announces price increase for Luminy® polylactic acid (PLA), effective 24 July 2026.
As you are no doubt aware, recent geopolitical event has created significant challenges across global supply chains and unfortunately did not show concrete sign nor progress of abating.
These have resulted in continue rise of costs of our key raw materials and energy, packaging and logistics. Whilst we have offset partially through productivity gains to absorb the cost fluctuations, the continue rise in these cost means we must seek for your help in sharing this unexpected surge in costs and adjust pricing to maintain the high standards you expect from us. Please be assured that our commitment to providing you with consistent, premium-quality products and services remains our top priority.
What does this mean for customers?
- Immediate Effect
The pricing increase applies to Luminy® PLA as of 24 July 2026.
- Existing Contracts
Customers with active fixed‑term contract will be honored and remain unaffected for the remainder of the agreement term, except any special clauses on prices in these contracts.
- Case‑by‑Case Evaluation
For all other orders, price adjustments of approximately 10% will be evaluated on an individual basis. TotalEnergies Corbion is committed to working closely with you to find the most sustainable path forward for your specific business needs.
